Diana is an entering freshman. She is interested in majoring in Music. She comes from a family of 5. Her father works as a handyman and her mother is a stay at home mom. “My family is from Mexico and we grew up Catholic. One day, my family met a family that would change our lives forever. Through a conversation over ice cream about the Bible, to meeting for Bible studies in our home, this family was able to teach my family the truth. We began going to church again; this time to a Church of Christ. When I turned thirteen, both of my parents were baptized. A year later, I was baptized. When I was in 8th grade , a friend from church invited me to FC camp. I felt the love of God and saw God’s light shine in the lives of the young campers. I returned to camp every year after that and learned about FC and how it was like going to camp every day except with school work and knew that is where I wanted to be. My family has never been in need of anything but unfortunately; do not have the privileges of being able to accumulate the entire amount of money for FC. I am thankful to be a part of the Adopt Program.”
