Brogan is an incoming freshman. He hopes someday to become a physical therapist. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and cross country. After being encouraged by a high school teammate, Brogan visited Florida College for Falcon Days and was very pleased with his experience. While here, he tried out for the soccer team, which he passed and is now planning to play this fall. His family moved to Florida after his father was offered a job from a start-up company. The company dissolved not long after their move and his father was left without a job for a year and a half. In the meantime, his mother worked part-time to help pay for their living expenses. Last year, Brogan and his father were involved in a motorcycle accident, which left his dad unable to walk without assistance for six months. Through all of this, the family’s attitude was one of thankfulness to God. “I believe having professors that care about the students is just as important as the curriculum and environment the college provides. Having an environment that allows a student to thrive is something I feel I need and believe Florida College can provide.”
