Music & Fine Arts
Theater
Each year, Florida College presents a fully staged musical with live orchestra. In the 2016-2017 school year, Florida College produced two musicals. Along with musicals, there are fully staged plays, one-act festivals, Madrigal Dinners, film festivals, musical revues and even some concert versions of musicals.
Open to all is an organization of students interested in theater: “Footlighters”. A faculty sponsored club that produces the “One Act Festival” as well as a full length play every year, Footlighters members help with all productions. As a group, they attend theater workshops and enjoy local musicals and shows every chance they can.
