Students will learn effective, research based strategies and will complete four levels of field experience in area schools, including a final full-time internship during their final semester. The program is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges (SACS) and the Florida Department of Education. Graduates will be fully qualified and certified to teach in public or private schools in the state of Florida or to seek certification in other states, as the state of Florida has reciprocity with many other states.

Graduates of the Educational Studies program will have a broad, foundational knowledge of educational theory and practices as well as strong content knowledge in their chosen area of specialization. These knowledge bases should well prepare them for work in private educational settings and support them in seeking state certification in their chosen specialization. However, because state accreditation requirements vary by state, graduates are encouraged to investigate the specific requirements for the state in which they plan to seek employment.

The Florida College Kinesiology Program is taught from a Biblical perspective and offers a multidisciplinary study of human movement involving components of biological, physical, psychological, and health sciences to explain structural and functional changes that occur on the physiological, biochemical and biomechanical levels. The wide range of subject matter within Kinesiology prepares graduates for different career pathways both entry-level positions in the exercise science/human performance field and entrance into related graduate programs, particularly Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT). Graduates will learn how to best utilize exercise to improve health and human performance for different populations.
