Florida College provides several means through which a student may address complaints and grievances. In order to resolve academic grievances, complaints, and concerns in an expeditious, fair, and amicable manner, students are asked to consult their respective
college catalog or student handbook for information on the appropriate grievance procedures. The link above provides the current academic catalog for Florida College. Students are urged to exhaust all possible internal avenues for resolution before filing complaints with external agencies.
In the unlikely event that an issue cannot be resolved internally, students may file a complaint with the following external agencies:
- Regional Accreditor: Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 Telephone (404) 679-4500. The link above provides information on the SACSCOC complaint policies and procedures.
