Title IX

Every Florida College staff member, faculty member, and student has the right to work and study in an environment free from discrimination and harassment and should be treated with dignity and respect. In addition, as a community of Christians, Florida College is committed to upholding respect and the charge to, “…treat other people the same way you want them to treat you.” Matthew 7:12.

Florida College makes every effort to comply with legal requirements prohibiting, preventing, and responding to sexual misconduct against any member of the FC community. You may find full details in the Florida College Sexual Harassment, Discrimination and Misconduct Policy.

Reporting

A person who has experienced a violation of the policy has the right to report that conduct 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and in most cases the right to request that an investigation stop at any point. Florida College will provide supportive measures to all parties from the beginning through the resolution of a reported incident.

If you are in imminent danger or a crime has been committed call 911 or the Temple Terrace Police Department (813-506-6500).

  • This form goes directly to the Title IX Coordinator
  • Individuals wishing to remain anonymous may choose not to include their personal information, except for employees reporting an incident involving students. However, anonymous reports often limit the ability of the College to respond to a report.

Make a confidential report to Mrs. Holly Cabina

If you are unsure whether or not to report an incident, you may speak with Holly Cabina in the Advising Office. Mrs. Cabina is appointed a confidential resource and is prohibited from revealing information to any other person unless 1) given express permission by the person who disclosed the information, 2) there is an imminent threat of harm to self or others, 3) the suspected violation involves abuse of a minor under the age of 18, or 4) as otherwise permitted by law or court order. Mrs. Cabina is able to provide support, information, and guidance. You may file an electronic report or set an appointment to talk with her.
