Marketing Director

Florida College is seeking individuals to help educate the whole person to imitate Christ in service to God and the world. The Marketing Director is an administrative position that oversees the college’s efforts to engage with students, alumni, friends and prospectives.

Qualifications & Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or related field
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience having experience in management
  • Experience managing a creative team
  • Strong skills in generating creative concepts and leading a creative team to execute ideas and strategies
  • Experience in establishing branding or rebranding organizations
  • Proven marketing campaign experience
  • Strong copywriting skills and knowledge of Associated Press style
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
  • Proven ability to manage budgets.
  • Professional and proactive work ethic
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Qualified candidate must demonstrate a dedication to God’s word and have high spiritual and moral values
  • Qualified candidates for this position must be professing Christians and be faithful, active members of a congregation of the churches of Christ and willing to support the Christian mission and purposes of the college 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee marketing department
  • Evaluate and develop marketing strategy and marketing plan
  • Plan, direct and coordinate marketing efforts including the effective communication of the college’s mission and values
  • Supervise and provide creative direction for all film, print, photographic and digital productions
  • Work with key administrators to establish appropriate messaging and departmental communication strategy
  • Research demand for future additions to Florida College’s portfolio of degree offerings
  • Coordinate and manage vendor relationships
  • Work with admissions and advancement departments to develop cohesive plans to communicate the college’s mission to all constituencies
  • Build brand awareness and positioning within student body and amongst employees
  • Coordinate marketing projects from start to finish
  • Oversee social media marketing strategy and content marketing strategy
  • Work collaboratively with the Florida College faculty, staff and administration to contribute to the Florida College mission
