  • Worked with faculty and committees to develop and sustain the elementary education program at Florida College.
  • Worked with faculty and committees to request and maintain SACS approval of the substantive change involved in the elementary education program
  • Worked with faculty to seek and maintain Florida Department of Education approval of elementary education program.
  • Supervised faculty and departmental resources in education.

Additional Activities and Duties

  • Chair and member of the Professional Development Committee on campus.
  • Coordinate annual workshops/programs in Christians in a Scientific World.
  • Sponsored and work with the CREST (science) club on campus.
  • Assisted in proofreading Clinton Hamilton’s commentary on the book of Romans.

Over the past three years I have attended numerous workshops and conferences related to ESOL, education program approval processes, and IPEPs. Most recently attended a conference on mobile technology sponsored by Intel Corporation, and a program sponsored by USF in educational technology. Other workshops included one a UCF on cooperation among K-20 institutions.
