Chorus

The Chorus is the “Voice of Florida College.”  The group’s recordings and performances have been encouraging and uplifting audiences for many years and the chorus is one of the most popular groups to be in on campus.  Competition is intense; 76 are chosen to join the group out of well over a hundred who audition. The group meets every weekday for college credit and a fantastic time.

Traditionally, the Florida College Chorus performs a variety of music, both sacred and secular.  The sacred tunes are professionally recorded in the Spring and are available on CD the following summer.

The group also hits the road in the Spring for a week-long whirlwind tour across the country.  These students get the chance to sing for other Christians everywhere and get to know each other better in the process.

Perhaps the most important benefit Chorus members receive is an exceptional opportunity to give: to audiences both on and off campus, to Christians everywhere who find spiritual encouragement in the hymns they record, and to the God whose gifts they tune to His praise.
