Former Faculty Member Passes

John L. Clark of Rosenberg, Texas passed away peacefully Saturday, June 13, 2009 after an eight year battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Clark was a student at Florida College in the 1950s and also was a member of the faculty from 1976-1980.

He was born July 25, 1931 in Malden, Mass. and grew up in Orlando, Fla. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, friend, preacher, teacher, lecturer, writer and servant of Christ. He preached the gospel all over the United States for nearly fifty years, including ten years at Bellaire church of Christ, in Bellaire, Texas. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife and caregiver, Ruth Clark, five children and ten grandchildren.
