Florida College Appoints New Administrators

Dr. Douglas Northcutt ’63 is the new Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, and Dean of the Faculty at Florida College. Dr. Northcutt holds the Master of Science degree from Cal State Northridge and the Doctor of Education degree from the University of Memphis. Northcutt served as the Science and Mathematics department head at Broward Community College and was Science and Mathematics Division Chair and Dean of Academic Affairs at East Arkansas Community College. He has taught Biology at FC since 1996, and chaired the Education Department through the Florida state certification approval process.

Dr. Brian Crispell is the new Dean of Student Services. Crispell holds the Master of Arts and the Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Florida State University and has taught history at Florida College since 2000. Crispell will continue to teach two advanced classes and one lower division class each semester.
