FC Basketball Players Honored At National Championship

Two FC basketball players were honored at the USCAA national championship banquet in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Tuesday, February 26. Sophomore Pete Alexandrou (Clearwater, Fla.) was named a Division I All-American and Junior Stanley Kelley (Tampa, Fla.) was named a Division I Honorable Mention All-American.

“Pete and Stanley are very deserving of the honors,” Coach Robb Mitchell ‘91 said. “They work hard in practice every day, and that translates over to the games. This shows that others in the USCAA have the same respect for Pete and Stanley's basketball abilities as we do here at FC.”

FC is currently ranked fifth in USCAA Division I and will be competing against seven other teams in the tournament. They will play their first game on Thursday at 10:00 AM CST and the game will be available by webcast (see information below).
