Student Life

Housing

Dorm life has long been an important part of the Florida College culture. Our residence halls are more than simply a place to live—they are an opportunity to live, work, eat, and play with other Christians your age, to experience Florida College to the fullest, and to make life-long friends.

Separate Residence Halls for Men and Women

In order to encourage wholesome devotion to the Lord, men and women live in separate residence halls. Students are required to be back in their residence hall by curfew, 11:00 p.m. during the week and by 12:00 a.m. on the weekend. After curfew the men or women of the hall typically do things together: play games, sing hymns, conduct a devotional, do homework, etc.

Single Rooms and Suites

Our residence halls offer both individual rooms (for you and a roommate) as well as multi-room suites which a group of students share. You can specify your room style and roommate preferences when applying for admission.

High-Speed Internet

All the rooms in our residence halls are wired for high-speed internet access. You simply need a desktop or laptop computer with an Ethernet port to access the world wide web.

On-Campus Convenience

Because all of our residence halls are on-campus, your meals, classes, and more are only a short walk away.

Secure and Safe

Our campus is located in a peaceful and safe neighborhood with a historically-low crime rate. Nevertheless, all of our dorms are securely locked at night and security guards patrol the campus to ensure your safety.
