President's Message

Dear Friends:

Florida College is a rare commodity. We have a special set of values that never haveand never willbe compromised. We have a unique outlook of the central role of the Bible in higher education. And we have a driving desire both to maintain those things we love about the College and to develop and grow to higher levels of excellence.

Pursuing this vision requires us to be honestly critical of our shortcomings. Yet, most of all, it requires an unfailing resolve to respondto be a better academic institution and spiritual haven for young people. I know that is what every Florida College supporter desires. Each of us wants to see the College remain steadfastly rooted to its spiritual foundation. We want to know that FC is offering a new generation of students more of what they need academically. And we want to be sure that FC persists in its mission ten, twenty, and fifty years from nowfor our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The Campaign for Florida College is the answer to that hopeand is the most important initiative of my 15-year presidency.

This campaign is also the culmination of many months of planning and prayerwe have not walked blindly. The Board and an assembled team of professionals have critically reviewed the Colleges academic practices and campus offerings and developed a plan to help us achieve the next level of effectiveness. And we want each of you to be a part of this exciting time of change and renewal.

In the next few months, you can expect to hear more from us regarding The Campaign for Florida College. We have provided you with a lot of information, but we promise to explain your vital role in this campaign in the near future. With your help, Florida College can realize its true potentialand be better than ever.
