New Business Professor and Chairman to Oversee Four-Year Business Degree Program

Our long-term strategic plans for academic enhancement at Florida College are continuing to unfold. After years of preparation, the Fall of 2008 will at last see the unveiling of a new, much-anticipated four-year business degree. And newly arrived on our campus to direct the program is PhD-candidate Philip Yoho.

Professor Yoho comes to us after a distinguished teaching tenure at Ohio Valley University where he served as Assistant Professor in Business, head of the Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) program, and the director of the Human Resources Management (HRM). Professor Yoho holds his M.S. in Industrial Relations from West Virginia University and his B.A. in Management from Fairmont State University. And by the time Florida College’s new business degree is offered next year, Professor Yoho will have completed his PhD.

In survey after survey, a new four-year business degree has been the most sought-after degree program of the Florida College student body. With the arrival of Professor Yoho on campus, that opportunity will soon be a reality.
