About the Campaign

Share the Vision, Build for Excellence is the culmination of months of strategic planning.

This plan combines surveys, consultation with members of our Board and constituency, and the assembly of an Advisory Committee. The Committee, composed of professional friends and alumni, reviewed the Colleges vision and provided critical input on how Florida College can better achieve its distinctive mission.

The plan combines critical elements of academic expansion and improvements along with needed additions to campus facilities. Then, in September 2005, the Board of Directors endorsed this major gifts campaign designed to build new facilities and reinforce the Colleges financial foundation.

Already in the campaigns Quiet Phase the FC Board, select Friends, Faculty, and Staff have made commitments over $4.1 million. Now, through a national campaign and a series of regional volunteer-driven initiatives, Florida College will spread the news about progressive changes and raise the funds needed to fulfill the vision. Within the campaign, we are asking people to give prayerful, careful consideration of a three year commitment. These kinds of gifts are essential to the College achieving financial goals of this magnitude.
