Course Policies for Credit

The following are the course policies for students who are taking the course for college credit.

1) Course Enrollment

Any student wishing to take Phil Roberts' The Book of Job course online will be officially enrolled in the course only when he or she has

After the above requirements have been met, the student will be notified by email when his or her account is ready for use. The email will include the student's username and password for access to that account.

2) Withdrawal/Refund

After enrolling, the student may receive a partial refund for The Book of Job

  • if less than 60 days of the course has elapsed, and
  • if less than one-quarter of the course has been completed

There will be no refund after 60 days or if the student has opened one-quarter or more of the online class materials. To receive a refund, the student must write a withdrawal petition to the Office of the Registrar before he or she has been enrolled in the course for 60 days. The official date of withdrawal is the date the student receives an email from the Registrar confirming the withdrawal.

3) Course Completion

Completion of The Book of Job course online is defined as

  • reading all provided material
  • completing all required tests
  • earning a passing grade on all tests

All requirements for The Book of Job course online must be completed within six months unless the student has applied for and paid for an extension. Two weeks prior to the six-month deadline, the student will receive a reminder by email to apply for an extension if necessary. A student may apply for a three-month extension by paying a fee of $60 and submitting a formal email request for an extension to the Office of the Registrar. Both the application and payment for an extension must be received before the six-month deadline. Any student who has not completed course requirements after six months and who has not applied for an extension will receive a grade of "F" on his or her Florida College transcript.
