Cost and Financial Aid FAQHow much does it cost to attend FC?What kinds of scholarships does Florida College offer?Florida College offers three types of scholarships. Students will automatically be awarded academic scholarships, which are based on high school GPA and ACT/SAT scores; they may apply and audition for departmental and athletic scholarships, which are based on proficiency and previous experience in vocal music, band, sports, and forensics; they may apply for endowed scholarships, which are awards created by private donors and are awarded based on need. Florida College also offers students the opportunity to participate in the Adopt Program. These scholarships are designed to help deserving students who, after doing everything they can themselves, including loans and on-campus employment, still fall short of finances needed to attend Florida College. The amount available per student ranges from $500 to $5000 per school year. How do I apply for financial aid?All students applying for financial aid at Florida College must complete the FAFSA. It is a required government form that must be completed before you can be considered for any grants, scholarships, student loans, Adopt-a-Student funds, or campus employment. Complete the form and send it in as soon as possible after Jan 1. In addition, to receive your award letter, you must be accepted to Florida College. If you have a question we didn't answer, our Admissions team is glad to help. |
