Cost and Financial Aid FAQ

How much does it cost to attend Florida College?

Financial Aid has a special page that explains the cost of attendance.

What kinds of scholarships does FC offer?

FC offers three types of scholarships: students will automatically be awarded academic scholarships based on high school GPA and ACT/SAT scores; they may apply and audition for departmental and athletic scholarships based on proficiency and previous experience in vocal music, band, sports, and forensics; and they may apply for endowed scholarships, awards created by private donors that are awarded based on need.

Florida College also offers students the opportunity to participate in the Adopt Program. These scholarships are designed to help deserving students who, after doing everything they can themselves—including loans and on-campus employment—still fall short of the finances needed to attend FC. The amount available per student ranges from $500 to $5000 per school year.

How do I apply for financial aid?

All students applying for financial aid at Florida College must complete the FAFSA, a required government form that must be completed before you can be considered for any grants, scholarships, student loans, Adopt funds, or campus employment. Complete the form and send it in as soon after January 1 as possible. You must be accepted to Florida College in order to receive your award letter.
