What to Bring (And What Not to Bring)
Here's a quick overview of what you should and shouldn't bring when you come to campus:

For the Residence Hall
- Alarm clock with battery backup
- Blanket
- Cleaning supplies for your bathroom
- Desk lamp (no halogen)
- Extension cord
- First aid kit
- Flashlight
- Hangers
- Iron (automatic shut-off ONLY)
- Laundry basket
- Laundry detergent, softener, etc.
- Mattress pad
- Over-the-counter medications
- Pillow and pillow case
- Quarters for laundry
- Raincoat and/or Umbrella
- Sheets
- Stamps
- Surge protector (UL approved outlet strip with a circuit breaker)
- Towels and washcloths
- Trash can
For School
- Paper
- Pens & pencils
- Highlighters
- Paper clips

What Not to Bring
The following items are not allowed:
- Candles, incense, etc.
- Coffee maker, microwave, hot pot, hot plate, etc. Please do not bring any type cooking appliance.*
- Fireworks, which are illegal in Temple Terrace
- Halogen lamps
- Matches, lighters, or anything else with an open flame
- Pets
- Weapons or anything resembling a weapon, including BB guns, pellet guns and paint ball
- Wireless routers or access points, hubs, or network switches (a computer with wired and/or wireless internet capability is all you need).
*We do allow hot water dispensers or coffee makers with an auto shut-off feature.
