Jill Robertson is leading His way.

Jill Robertson’s love of Florida College Florida Camp played an instrumental role in her decision to come to Florida College and her decision to serve as a Camp Friend to lead other students to a Florida College experience. "Camp has always been a big deal in my family,” Jill said. “I spent nine years at Florida Camp and my dad became the director, so I was able to see the passion and love all the counselors had for Florida College. I knew there was something special about this place because of them, and their examples motivated me to give back.” In addition to traveling as a Camp Friend, Jill is actively involved on campus. She is currently a member of Alpha Club and an ICUF Presidential Fellow, but her favorite role is serving as secretary for the Student Body Government Association. Jill has the opportunity to plan a variety of events and activities for her fellow students to ensure they have the best possible experience. "I have made so many memories because of the events previous SBGA officers planned," Jill said. "I want to help build those memories for others. It is amazing how much more fun you can have and more joy you can feel by planning an event for others to enjoy.” Even with a full schedule of extracurricular activities, Jill makes plenty of time for her studies. As a senior in the organizational communication program, she just completed the internship requirement for her degree. She spent a semester working in the marketing department at Florida College writing news stories, editing publications, and planning and managing the school’s social media accounts.
