Pat Todd, Saif Alsafeer Accept Academy, College Positions
Florida College is proud to announce two significant changes in both Academy and College leadership.
Mr. Pat Todd has accepted the position of assistant to Principal Lynn Wade at the Florida College Academy, and will serve as the director of strategic planning and development. He will also take on the additional responsibility of interim athletic director for Florida College. Mr. Todd has extensive experience and success as an athletic director and head basketball coach at the high school level, and has also served as an assistant basketball coach at the collegiate level.
Mr. Saif Alsafeer has been appointed as the men’s soccer head coach for Florida College. Saif has shown outstanding commitment and capability as one of the College’s latest admissions counselors, a position he will continue to fill in a part-time capacity while coaching. A 2012 graduate, he is a true example of the benefits of the Florida College experience. He looks forward to winning the right way with mission-appropriate athletics. As a former captain and star forward of the Florida College men’s team (’09-’12), Saif has a thorough knowledge of soccer and has already begun his practices and recruiting process for the upcoming season.
We look forward to the direction of the Academy with the addition of Mr. Todd’s leadership, and await an exciting 2014 soccer season under the leadership of Coach Alsafeer.
